Water Aid supported by Rotary Club of Skegness, Lincolnshire

Jan Cross, a volunteer speaker for WaterAid, gave a presentation on 25th January 2012 to the members of the Skegness Rotary Club on the activities of her organisation. Jan's informative talk included many examples of the practical solutions used by WaterAid to provide clean water, safe sanitation and hygiene to the World's poorest people in 27 countries. Jan showed how this international NGO had transformed so many lives.

The International Services Committee of the Club has supported WaterAid for many years and once again this year has raised funds for its work.

Following the talk the Club's president, Rob Wilkinson, presented Jan with a cheque from the Club to WaterAid for £400.
