The Community Larder is a local provision  run by The Salvation Army that is able to provide a 3 day supply of food items for genuine emergencies for those who find themselves in temporary hardship, with no other source of money or support and  often homeless.

The Rotary Club of Skegness welcomed Major Penny Palmer-Taylor to a recent meeting when she collected a donation for the Community larder. Major Penny explained the running of the Community larder and invited members to call in and see things like the soup kitchen in operation at The Salvation Army  buildings in High Street Skegness.
