The Rotary Club of Skegness organise a childrens story competition each year. Children are invited to write a story of no more than 500 words. This years stories were full of imagination and the judges praised the grammar and punctuation.

Rotary Presdent Margaret Taylor and Rotarian Pat Lowe visited the Viking School Assembly to present prizes to the children whose stories had been selected.

Rotary is one keen to promote Literacy in all forms and during the year several schools have been presented with dictonaries for use in school.
