The Rotary District Young Chef final was held at Robert Pattinson School at North Hykeham.
The Rotary Club of Skegness had sponsored Childrens Cookery Club at First College Skegness.
Tutors from the cookery club selected the Skegness entrant and Lora Blackett who attends Skegness grammar School represented The Rotary Club of Skegness at the district final.
Lora had to prepare cook and serve a healthy meal for 2 people for under £15. She cooked vegetable broth, baked cod with salsa and dessert pears poached in red wine with crème fraiche.
The judges complemented Lora on the choice of her dishes and her hygienic and methodical approach to her cooking.
The members of The Rotary Club of Skegness and District 1270 wish Lora every success in the Regional final in March at Harrogate.
