Due to the poor weather conditions we had feared Skegness Santa Fun Run would not take place. On the day we did have many people calling to ask if the run was still going ahead as everything else in the County had been cancelled! However, the brave Santas of Skegness turned up in large numbers making this one of the best attended events we have held with over 300 Santas taking part!
The Lifeboat Station volunteers were very kind to us, as the Lifeboat was out on manoeuvers they allowed all of the Santas to start and finish in the Lifeboat Station which meant some dry and warmth if only for a short period before they braved the elements!
