The Rotary Swimarathon
on the 26th February 2017
at Fresh Fitness,
Richmond Drive, Skegness.
Teams of six are each given a lane and swim time.
Each team swims in relay for 55 minutes, the lengths being
counted and announced every 15 minutes.

A massive thank you for all the support for the 2014 Big Breakfast at the Royal Hotel.
Over 65 people attended the annual event and we raised over £1200 for Cancer Research.
Sponsors and Donations of food from Kirks Butchers, Wainfleet Co-Op, Steve Brickett and Bookers, and the Royal Hotel for their staff, time, room and Scott and Lucy for cooking and preparation

Fun Quiz 2014

The Rugby Club - Wainfleet Road, Skegness - 7pm
The com voc committee are running the annual quiz on the 7th February 2014 7pm at the Rugby Club Wainfleet Road, Skegness This year it will be a fun quiz.
Proceeds to raise money for local charities supported by The Rotary Club of Skegness.

Teams of 4 maximum • £6.00 per person including finger buffet.
1. Maximum of 4 per team.
2. There will be a 5 minute break between rounds with a 30 minute interval where sandwiches will be served and the bar will be available.
3. 20 questions per round, 4 rounds.
4. Adjudicator decision final. First and second places will receive a prize.
5. In the event of a tie 2 further questions will be asked.
6. Use of mobile technology will be prohibited and teams disqualified for use.
7. Answers to each round will be give after each round’s papers are collected in.
8. During the rounds no player will leave or join the table.
9. There will be a minimum of 2 Rotarian markers.
10. A raffle will be held during the interval.

Big Breakfast Raising Money for Cancer Research: 2013 March
The Rotary Club of Skegness supported the annual Big Breakfast event to raise funds for Cancer Research UK
"A massive thank you on behalf of the Com/Voc committee for attending the Big Breakfast on 19th March 2013 at the Royal Hotel, Skegness, bringing guests and giving donations towards our target of £500 for Cancer Research UK and £100 for the Breast Cancer Tissue Bank Appeal for Research
Rotary Club of Skegness raised £700 for Cancer Research UK, thank you especially for a generous private donation also for those of you who brought guests and donated funds on their behalf. In addition, £100 was given to the Breast Cancer Tissue Bank Appeal.
Please pass on our thanks to guests and friends who supported this event which has generated interest in future membership and supporting the Rotary Club of Skegness.
Ladies Afternoon Tea: 2013 October

Many contributions were made by local hotels and businesses towards a raffle and 9 floral table decorations donated by Sarah's of Skegness were auctioned, which along with the tickets purchased raised over £320 towards S.t Barnabas Hospice at Home Appeal.Thirty five ladies attended with great hats and bags. They were hosted by members of the Skegness Rotary Club (also supporting great hats).

Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal 2017
On Saturday, 11th March between 9am and 5pm 7 Rotarians took part in the Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal 2017 at Morrisons Supermarket in Skegness. Our Rotarians dressed as daffodils brought smiles from the shoppers who gave generously to this very popular Charity.
The collection raised £532.22 for the Marie Curie.
Big Breakfast 2017 - Raising Money for Cancer Research UK
The Rotary Club of Skegness held its event “The Big Breakfast” at the Royal Hotel, Skegness on Tuesday, 7 March. Starting at 7.45am 60 Rotarians and guests enjoyed a superb breakfast served by the hotel staff. The food was donated by Kirks Quality Foods, Skegness, S Clift (Grimsby) Ltd and Burgh-Le-Marsh Food Store-Lincolnshire Co-op.
Maureen Wilson and Judy Hope who represented Cancer Research UK attended the breakfast and received a cheque for £610 being the total proceeds raised.
Rotary Swimarathon 2017 generated over £5000 thanks to the Generosity of our Sponsors, Participants, and Rotarians giving their time and money to ensure this first effort was a brilliant success.
Collections at Tesco 2016
Members of the Rotary Club of Skegness made bucket collections at Tesco, Skegness during the 5 days leading up to and including Christmas Eve.
The Skegness Silver Band played Christmas carols each day to aid the collections. £2,092 was raised for local charities
