Youth Service delivered 364 shoe boxes to the collection point at Crowder’s Nursery at Horncastle 17th November 2014

On Monday, 17th November 2014, Youth Service delivered 364 shoe boxes to the collection point at Crowder’s Nursery at Horncastle. A number of schools in the local area have been supporting this year’s Rotary International Shoebox Appeal, where boxes are filled with gifts for young children which are then sent to Eastern Europe for distribution. Some of the schools involved in this year’s appeal are Skegness Grammar School Boarders, Friskney, Magdalen, Viking, Richmond and Great Steeping schools along with Skegness Academy infants and juniors. Thank you to them all and especially the Youth Service Committee for overseeing this worthy project.
