On Wednesday 15th July 2026, the Skegness Academy Celebration of Achievement Evening was held at The Embassy Centre.
This special evening was dedicated to formally recognising and celebrating the outstanding progress, achievements and exceptional contributions of students throughout their time at Skegness Academy.
Each subject area nominated one student from each year group in recognition of their exceptional hard work, effort and dedication to their studies. These qualities have led to significant progress and achievement, and it was wonderful to see these students recognised for all they have accomplished.
In addition, the Year Teams and SEND Department selected students who have made remarkable contributions to the school community, each in their own unique way.
Students who achieved 100% attendance were also rewarded and acknowledged, which is an impressive accomplishment and one of which they should be very proud.
The evening reflected Skegness Academy’s commitment to its vision of: “Putting every student on the path to a happy, successful, and fulfilling life.”
This year also saw the introduction of a brand-new award — the Skegness Rotary Club Community Champion Award.
The Rotary Club of Skegness is proud to have worked alongside Skegness Academy to recognise a student who has made a positive difference within the local community. It was a privilege to share in celebrating this student’s contribution and to present them with our Community Champion Award, which was presented by Immediate Past President Tamara Good.
It was such a wonderful night, recognising and celebrating the achievements of all the students, and we look forward to continuing this partnership in the future.
